Brickwork Studio is a creative photography, film and podcast studio based in Derby, offering both studio hire and full production services for creative brands or agencies.

Located in the historic Darley Abbey Mills, our Grade II listed industrial mill space combines exposed brick walls, Georgian windows and natural light with modern equipment and facilities. It’s an inspiring setting for photography, video production, podcasts, workshops and small events.

Alongside flexible studio hire, we provide professional commercial services including corporate headshots, lifestyle brand imagery, food photography, event coverage and podcast production packages. Whether you’re a business, brand or independent creator, Brickwork Studio is the place to create.

 Brickwork Studio + FAQs

  • To book, simply fill in our contact form below with your details + requirements and we’ll be in touch to ASAP to follow up and book you in.

  • Ample parking is available on the Darley Abbey Mills site. (currently accessed via Haslams Lane)

  • We are located on the third floor of an industrial mill building and access is via the stairs. Regrettably, there is no lift. Please bare this in mind if bringing large equipment on site.

  • Full payment is required 7 days before your hire date.

    Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the hire date. A refund will be given or the booking can be transferred to a new date.

    If the booking is cancelled within 48 hours no refund will be given however the booking can be transferred to a new date.
